As discussed throughout this course, building relationships, making connections with other agencies and professionals, and securing outside referrals for clients are all part of a case manager’s role in helping clients improve the overall quality of their lives. In order to accomplish these tasks, collaboration is key.
Assuming the role of a future case manager, develop your own collaborative network. Describe what personal approaches, professional activities, and networking strategies you will use in your collaborative network. In addition, discuss how inter-organizational collaboration benefits both the client and the case manager.
Complete your assignment by including a list of 5 local resources (in your community) you believe will be the best resources to start your collaborative network. Include a brief description of each resource/agency, contact information and website, what services are offered and what populations the agency serves.
In Your Assignment You Must
describe in one paragraph each how you would build your own collaborative network in terms of (1) personal approaches, (2) professional activities, and (3) networking strategies (total of 600-750 words)
discuss how inter-organizational collaboration benefits both case managers and clients (200–300 words)
develop a list of 5 local resources in your community (can be bullet points)
include a brief description of each resource, contact information, and website, what services are offered and what populations the agency serves
support your ideas with evidence and examples from the text and 2 additional outside sources other than the two-course textbooks
use APA style for all references and in-text citations
Module 6 Introduction
This module highlights the importance of service coordination in the case management process. Because it is the case manager’s responsibility to locate resources, make arrangements for clients to use them, and monitor client use and progress, coordinating services is a critical phase of case management. A case manager establishes a network of professional colleagues representing a variety of agencies and organizations to support the case management process and best meet clients’ needs. Case managers work within both a collaborative network and their own agency’s organizational context and structure when coordinating services and making referrals. As a result, it is important for case managers to recognize the formal and informal organizational structures that exist in agencies.
During service coordination, the case manager and the client agree on a plan of service and then determine what services can be provided by the case manager and what services need to be referred. It is vital for the client to participate during resource selection so that his or her values and preferences and unique circumstances are considered. Readiness of the client to be referred, appropriateness of the referral, and willingness of the new agency to receive the client are all important factors in making a successful referral.

Assignment: Collaborative Network
1.) Fill in the peer review journal questions (the document is in the uploaded files)
2.) Use the experimental article I have provided to answer the questions (Please let me know if you need my school log in information to access the article) I have attached the link below.
The attached article discusses the role of religion and clergy in domestic violence. Please keep in mind the article is more of a commentary as opposed to a scholarly review. I felt it would be beneficial to read a religious/cultural perspective based on the opinions of people who may be providing guidance to people experiencing domestic violence.
In your paper, please include the following:
One academic article that supports or negates some of the opinions expressed in the article.
Your critique of the article. What did you like or not like about the article and if you learned anything by it.
Description and Instructions
To complete this assignment, you will conduct a review of the literature assigned for this course assessing how a specific problem (e.g., poverty) impacts a specific system (e.g., health, mental health). In addition to using the required and recommended readings and content for this course, consider searching for additional literature to support your writing and the needs of this assignment. Construct an 8-10 page paper via APA format in a word document and be sure to use an appropriate number of sources and citations throughout. The suggested format follows:
• Cover Page
• Background: Search the literature to include a span of empirical and conceptual/theoretical literature specifically related to a problem (e.g., poverty, domestic violence, addiction, sexual abuse) and interconnection with a specific system of care (e.g., health, mental health).
• Consider focusing your search for a clearer understanding of the problem at the local (e.g., Chicago), national (e.g., U.S.), regional (e.g., Southwest) or national (e.g., global) levels.
• While some of the literature may relate to specific populations (e.g., youth, LGBTQ+, people with disabilities), be sure to “park” this literature for assignment two.
• Conclusions: What conclusions can you draw related to challenges and opportunities for practice across micro, mezzo, and macro frameworks with regard to this problem and system?
don’t not include APA pages
please note this
Identify an agency private or public that services primarily children and familyagency private or public that services primarily children and family. Give a historical description of the agency and the policies that exist. In a 4-5 page paper, please cover the following

Remember Sally Social Worker? She is a school social worker at fictional Fayetteville High School
where she has multiple clients with behavioral problems. The girls are doing well, but the boys are not so she has asked her colleague Bob to help by adding the boys to his caseload. While working with
Bob, the boys have shown improvement.
Remember the Ma’at Gang Diversion Program?
You created it at your field placement to disrupt the recidivism of the gang members who keep being sent to the agency by basing your program on an Afrocentric framework.
Remember the grading
schema I created for the Research Methods class several years ago where half of the class started
with an A while the other half had to earn an A traditionally?
All of those interventions would be some form of an experimental study.
This week you will locate an empirical social work journal article on a topic of interest to you (must be related to social work practice) and answer the following questions:
What is the rationale/purpose of the study?
What is/are the research question(s)?
What are the IV and DV?
What type of research design is used in the study?
What are the major findings?
What are the study’s limitations?
What are the implications for practice and/or research?
What are your thoughts about the study?
The assignment requires you to upload the article you chose (as a pdf) along with your answers to
It is important that you adhere to the following guidelines for writing up your review:
The literature review is narrative so do not type the question then type the answer.
This should be in paragraph format (just like it is in actual articles).
The final question about your
thoughts needs to have a substantive answer.
Engage the article as a future practitioner and scholar who might read this for the work you are doing and provide critical, thoughtful feedback about it (good or bad).
You will need to use proper APA formatting and appropriate grammar, spelling, and general mechanics of writing for the assignment.
Be sure to proofread.
If you use direct quotes (avoid doing this as often as possible), be sure to use proper citation format
to avoid plagiarism.
Ensure that your name is at the top of the paper (you do not need a cover sheet or abstract).
If the article is not attached with the literature review or attached in some format other than a pdf, you will
only receive partial credit for the assignment.
PLEASE NOTE: no late assignments will be accepted.
The social problem selected for this assignment is food insecurity for children in Texas. So many children are fed at school and in daycare in fear that they will not get fed at home. what more can be done about this?
For the source requirements:

-Select at least one state policy that works to address your selected social problem for the affected populations. **Legislative proprosal assessment attached can be used to help with this**
Submit a 3 page paper, addressing the following:
• Issue Statement: Create a 1-paragraph issue statement **(view the attachment labeled “Issue Statement” for an example and explanation-NOT A SOURCE)** that hooks your audience and concisely communicates the imperative to address your selected social problem. Include the following:
In 1 paragraph, define your social problem and the population impacted by it.
In 1–2 paragraphs, explain your critical reasons for why the public and decision makers, as well as social workers, need to advocate for change.
In 1–2 paragraphs, describe what happens in communities if your goal to alleviate the problem is realized.
• Policy Review: Select a policy about food insecurity for children from the State of Texas current legislation. Summarize your selected policy, its relationships to the social problem, and the expected results. Then address the following:
Is your selected policy dictated by local or state statute—or a combination thereof?
How does the policy address your issue statement? Or what is missing?
What are the different sections, or components, of the policy?
How long has the current policy been in place?
Who supports and who opposes the policy?
What changes, or amendments, have been made to the policy?
Explain how this policy affects clients you might see in a clinical setting and why, as a clinical social worker, it would be important to advocate for change.
What policy Senate Bill or House Bill is this currently?
I need the paper to be about a intersectonality of Afircan American, Christian female. Being affected by poverty.
